Required Ingredients

  • Mint leaves: 1 bunch
  • Green chilli: 2
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Black salt: a pinch
  • Kaitha pulp: 10 grams
  • Cumin: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida: a pinch
  • Coriander: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon

Preparation Method

Pluck mint leaves and wash them thoroughly. Add green chillies to it and put it in a mortar or mixer. Add salt as per taste and grind them until a paste is formed. Add the kaitha pulp (grind it if necessary) to the prepared chutney. Now add black salt, cumin, asafoetida, and coriander to it. Add sugar to the chutney prepared in this way and taste the sweet and sour Mint-Kaitha Chutney.
