Mint-Coriander Chutney Recipe
Required Ingredients
- Mint leaves: 1 bunch
- Coriander leaves: 1 bunch
- Green chillies: 2
- Salt: as per taste
- Black salt: a pinch
- Tamarind: 10 grams
- Cumin seeds: 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida: a pinch
- Coriander seeds: 1/2 tsp
- Onion: 1/2 (optional)
Preparation Method
Pluck mint and coriander leaves from the stalks. Wash them thoroughly in water. Place the leaves in a mortar or mixer, add green chillies, tamarind pulp, ground coriander, half of the cumin seeds, and salt. Grind them into a fine paste. Add the remaining cumin seeds and asafoetida after roasting and grinding them. You may also add half an onion for extra flavor.
